Thai basalt is predominantly distributed in regions such as the Khorat Plateau and Chiang Rai, characterized by its vesicular structure and high hardness (composed mainly of plagioclase and pyroxene). To produce premium aggregates for the local construction sector, our engineering team designed a comprehensive three-stage crushing and shaping circuit to process the abrasive material efficiently.
Raw basalt boulders (under 700mm) are fed into the PE Jaw Crusher for initial size reduction. The primary crushed material is then conveyed into a transit silo, ensuring a stable and continuous feed for the subsequent stages.
Material from the transit silo is transferred via belt conveyors to the PFW1315Ⅲ European Impact Crusher for secondary reduction. The discharged material enters a 3YZS2460 Vibrating Screen. Oversize aggregates are returned to the silo in a closed circuit.
The 5-40mm intermediate fraction is fed into the VSI5X1145 Centrifugal Impact Crusher (Sand Maker) for fine crushing and cubical shaping. The output is finally graded by two 3YZS2460 Vibrating Screens, accurately outputting 0-5mm, 5-10mm, and 10-20mm premium construction aggregates.
The upgraded production line replaces outdated machinery with Liming Heavy Industry's high-efficiency equipment, significantly lowering power consumption while maximizing output quality.

On-site performance record: The modernized layout significantly reduced equipment redundancy and maintenance overhead.
"This project is a complete upgrade of our old production line. The previous setup had too many pieces of equipment, consumed excessive energy, and was cumbersome to maintain, which drove our decision to modernize. After extensive comparisons, we selected Liming Heavy Industry's crushing and sand-making machinery, and the results have been highly satisfying. Liming's equipment delivers low energy consumption and high throughput, which has dramatically increased our overall operational profitability!"
Whether it is hard metallic ore, highly abrasive granite, or ultra-large capacity requirements, Liming Heavy Industry's global backbone engineering team will provide a customized 3D process layout and investment budget estimation within 24 hours.
